Chefs training terms and conditions

SUBSCRIPTION MODALITY
Programme subscription is obtained by sending the enclosed form, either by correspondence or by fax, at least one week prior to the requested course commencing date. Proof of payment of 50% of the subscription fee must also be enclosed (Transaction code and swift number), with payment addressed to:
Yacht Academy di Stefania Berzolla, Vico del Fico, 21 - 16128 Genoa Italy – Fax No +39 010 5533142.

The remainder of the subscription fee must be paid to Yacht Academy on or before the beginning of the first day of the programme course. Programme subscription is effective once the full fee settlement has been carried out.
Participants’ number is limited: from a minimum of 4 to a maximum of 8.

Cash directly at Yacht Academy main place of business, located at Vico del Fico, 21 - 16128 Genoa Italy, before the beginning or directly onboard on the beginning of the first day of the programme course.

RESCISSION MODALITY
In case rescission is sought, statutory recess rights are granted under provisions within article 1314 of Italian Civil Code. Participants must notify their intentions by either e-mail (info@yachtacademy.it) or fax (+39 010 5533142).
Rescission can be sought according to the following modalities:
- Up to 5 working days prior to the beginning of the programme courses, participants will be able to rescind without any payouts, therefore obtaining the reimbursement for previously transferred funds.
- Beyond the above mentioned term and through to the beginning of the programme course, participants will be able to rescind by paying 25% of the total subscription fee.
In case the funds are transferred before, such percentage will be withheld by our company and the arising differential will be reimbursed.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR THE PROGRAMME COURSES
The company reserves a right to hold trainings onboard sailing and motor yachts, different from the indicated ones, according to their availability at the requested times.
The company reserves a right to postpone the programme courses in case a minimum number of participants is not reached.
Participants will then be entitled to either/or:
Utilise the transferred funds for the next available programme course
Demand the reimbursement of the wired funds, which will be carried out within 3 days of request

REGULATIONS FOR ONBOARD CHEF PROGRAMME COURSES
Form subscription implies acceptance of programme terms as enshrined on the website.
Programme courses will be subject to changes according to lecturers’ discretion.
Didactical material will be handed to all participants during each lecture or at the end of the programme courses, according to the lecturers’ instructions.
Owing to hygienic and practical reasons, participants will be given uniforms and will have to keep their hair sweptback.
Owing to safety and practical issues, participants will generally have to utilise low and closed shoes, preferably trainers. When onboard, though, participants will have to wear anti-slip shoes or stay barefoot.
Participants will be requested to keep their cell phones off during the lectures, in order to respect classmates.
Owing to safety reasons, smoking will not be allowed onboard.
Companions will not be allowed onboard.
Participants will have permission to utilise photo cameras during the programme course. Video cameras will not be allowed owing to privacy and image-right reasons.
ALL PRICES ARE TO BE INTENDED INCLUDING TAXES – VAT EXEMPT.

Subscribers will be held responsible for whatever damage howsoever caused to vessels, onboard equipment and interiors, furniture and furnishings contained therein and broadly to all didactical material utilised amidst their participation to the programme courses.
Moreover, subscribers will relieve Yacht Academy of any responsibilities arising from claim or allegation propounded by third parties concerning all above mentioned damages and, under all circumstances, for acts or mishaps incurred or howsoever caused during the carrying out of any activities related to the programme courses.

INFO UNDER LAW 675/96
In compliance to Law 675/96 concerning privacy, Yacht Academy di Stefania Berzolla is hereby authorised to personal and professional data handling as provided within this agreement.
Moreover, in compliance to Legislative Decree 196/03, the company is authorised to reproduce attestations, photographs and images depicting participants during the course of the programme, for promotional purposes.
